The Pearisburg Public Library serves Pearisburg Virginia. Since its opening in 1963, the library has had four full-time librarians: Ruby Johnston from 1962-86, Sandra Robertson from 1986-2011, Birdie Moye from 2012-2017, and the current librarian, Allison Long, since March 2017.
The library currently has more than 8,000 cardholders, an automated card catalog system and a variety of programs for children and adults.
